Survivor!
So I love Survivor. I have watched it for the past 6 or 7 seasons. It is a fun show, and if I could handle leaving my kids for a month I would go on it. But I have a bit of an issue with the people on the show. For the last 3 or 4 seasons they have made the players start the game in the clothes on their backs. So can someone explain to me why they show up wearing suits and dresses and just end up in their underwear. I don't care what they tell you to wear when you get there I would totally dress for the area. Zip off pants, good shirt, and good shoes. I don't see how these women think they should show up in a dress and just walk around in a bra. Seriously!!! I can see why the people that were on the first season that they did this weren't prepared, but now, what are they thinking. I know the girls just want to get the attention, which is sad. Anyway, I just had to vent that, it has been bugging me for some time. I wish they were just given some sort of uniform. In the world of television the less clothes the better for ratings, I guess. I still love the show, it is so much fun to watch. Please put some clothes on!!

Ginormous the Sequel!
OK I know that I am obsessed with my garden, but I had to put up a pick of this tomato. It weighed at least 2 lbs. It was super red inside, and super yummy! I love having tomatoes. I have been eating tomato sandwiches like crazy. Who knew playing in the dirt would be so fun, and have such wonderful rewards!
Laundry day!
Today is laundry day. I would show a picture of the monstrosity that is growing in my back room, but my mother would be ashamed of me. So instead of doing fun things like scrapbooking or anything else I will be up to me elbows in clothes. Some days the idea of being nudist is appealing. Then I look at my thighs.

Brothers
This weekend my sweet husband took the two older boys on a little backpacking trip. He has been taking them on little over nighters since they were 2. Each trip he brings home the greatest pictures of the two of them. I think it is so wonderful that they will always have these special trips with Dad to look back on. It is a time when they are able to get along really well and enjoy the outdoors. They have both taken after their Dad and want to start doing big backpacking trips. Next year they are going to do some 10 mile ones and work their way up to a 50 miler before too long. I am so grateful that they are interested in such great things. I know that the outdoor explorations that my hubby went on in his youth really shaped him as a man. Going and seeing God's creations unmarred by civilization is really a testimony growing experience. It is so great that they have a Dad who takes them on these fun trips.

Time to clean my house!
So tonight I finished reading the Twilight series. I have to say is was really addicting. It is a sweet story and it was fun to read. Sometimes it is nice to have a little mental get away. So I want to thank Nicole, Liz and their sister for letting me borrow their copies of all of the books. Thank you. I was feeling out of the loop, now I know what everyone is talking about. I am excited about the movie. We Twilight readers should all go see it together.
Now that I am done I have to clean my house. I was really doing the bare bones while I was trying to get through the books. So laundry, bathroom and dusting here I come!!

Ginormous!
I need to write another little note about our garden. Everything that has done well has done really well. We have a ton of tomatoes! Most of them are still green, but the ones that have turned red are so good! The beans have been growing like weeds. I can't give them away fast enough. We have more peppers than I know what to do with. But the items that have truly defined the word "Ginormous" (yes it is a real word) are our Sunflowers. They are SO tall and are really beautiful. They have attracted a lot of bees to our yard, which is great. We all need to do our part in helping the bees. Rod is very proud of these monstrous flowers.
