Diapers!

As a mother of 5 I have changed a few diapers in my day. You would think by now I would understand that cheap diapers do not work! Well I did it again. Sam is almost totally potty trained so I bought him cheap wal-mart diapers to wear at night. Well today is the third time this week I am washing his sheets! There is a reason you get twice as many for your money. You have to change them twice as much!! So if any of you can benefit from this information that took me 10 years to learn it will make it worth it. CHEAP DIAPERS ARE NOT WORTH TRYING!!! So now I am stuck with these diapers, that of course I am too cheap to throw out. Hopefully this time I have learned my lesson and I won't make this mistake with Little D!

I'm a big fan of Costco diapers...the WalMart ones only worked for us if we used one size too big...so when our kid's large bottoms maxed out the WalMart ones, we were out of luck, haha! I always think that I should have kept a running list on my fridge to write down all the things that I keep re-learning with every child - there's always something that sounds like a good idea - EVERY SINGLE TIME (like buying cheap diapers) - then doesn't pan out EVERY SINGLE TIME:)

I'm with you on this one. What you don't pay for in diapers, you end up paying for in Stain Remover, laudry detergent and ruined clothes. We like the Costco ones too and buy Huggies when we have a coupon.

We love Costco as well. Pampers are my favorite otherwise!

Boy, this blog makes me so happy I'm not there any more!

I use to like the Albertson's brand, but you know, they're gone and that was 8 years ago, so they probably wouldn't be good any more.

I feel for you, though.

I ONLY used Pampers, I didn't care what they cost...it was worth every penny. But you can't beat Huggies wipes.

Haha! I am definitely in the minority, here. I admit it. I buy the cheap ones. They work well for me, actually. But here's the trick: I buy the cheap diapers from WinCO. They are a lot better ;).

Good to know! I just bought their pull-up for Sam. He can't decide if he is potty trained or not. So well shall see how they work!
